Before bows and hair brushing.  Before socks and shoes.  Before breakfast.  There's this moment -- where Jack realizes Kate is awake and waiting...in his old room.  In his old crib.  He proclaims, "Mom, baby Kate is wakin' up!  Go get her!"  And we both pop up and go to rescue our little sleeping beauty.  It's one of my favorite things about waking up.

I just love my comfy cotton-y carter's pj kiddos.  Excuse Kate's hair....I'm lost until its ponytail-able.  For now it's a crazy mess that big bow headbands covers up.  This, however, is pre-bow hair...watch out!
